My husband and I visited Bhutan in October and had an amazing experience thanks to our guide Bijay and our driver, Tashi. Bijay and Tashi, were excellent hosts who helped us see the many facets of Bhutan in a short amount of time. We had the opportunity to attend the Thimphu Tshechu (festival) which was a wonderful experience. We covered the major sights in and around Thimphu and also managed a day trip to Punakha. We appreciated the opportunity to do a short hike a few days prior to hiking to the Tiger's Nest so that we were able to get acclimated to hiking at such high altitude. The conversations we were able to have with Bijay and Tashi on our drives and hikes really allowed us to get to know more about the people of Bhutan and their culture. We would highly recommend visiting Bhutan and booking Bijay as your guide!
